Stewardship

Stewardship is the faithful management of everything God has entrusted to us.

The Conquering King

Three wonderful promises emerge that will converge for our eternal joy: 1) in the perfect justice of God; 2) in the steadfast love of God and; 3) in the comprehensive peace of God. Come be encouraged by our joy in Jesus now and forevermore!

True Spirituality - Isaiah 58

God is not impressed by accurate theology from our lips if our lives are filled with sin and injustice. This chapter confronts our hypocrisy and calls us to true spirituality that seeks justice, shows compassion and expresses sincere devotion.

The Living Water

Let’s follow the five steps outlined here, responding to God’s call: 1) thirst – admit your need; 2) turn – forsake your sin; 3) seek – study God’s Word; 4) receive – commit to Jesus and; 5) rejoice – experience the overflowing grace of God!

The Suffering Servant

Nowhere in the Old Testament is the gospel as clear as it is in Isaiah 53. 700 years before Jesus was born the Lord showed Isaiah the kind of Savior the world needed – a suffering servant.

Light to the Nations

As the prophet Isaiah expresses discouragement and fear, the Lord speaks four comforting promises to Him (and to us): 1) you have a purpose; 2) you have power; 3) you will reach people and 4) you will have peace forever.

The Servant King

God appointed and anointed Cyrus, calling him by name, equipping him for specific tasks and empowering him to success in them. We see God’s creative generosity all around us in people (both believers and non-believers) God appoints and anoints to serve and assist us.

Fearless Witnesses

Isaiah 43 gives us four reasons not to be afraid. 

The Incomparable God

The Lord is the everlasting God!” Come be reminded of God’s absolute uniqueness: the One who is sovereign in power, supreme in wisdom and all-surpassing in glory!

Servant of Justice

As God’s chosen and cherished children – as His servants – we must 1) love the hurting; 2) teach His Word and; 3) work for justice. Let’s not grow tired or discouraged – let’s simply keep serving the Lord!
