The Promise

 Luke 2 outlines the Old Testament promises to God’s people of redemption, relationship, and righteousness. A fuller presentation of those promises is found in Luke 1 by Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist.

The Transformation

Through His finished work on the cross Jesus enabled the complete transformation of heart and life that was necessary for the church to be created and empowered to bring the good news of the kingdom to all nations.

Our calling is to live out the four purposes of Jesus described in Isaiah 9.
